Much as it pains me to deny fellow Pennsylvanian Buchanan his only accomplishment, Bush is very likely to end up being the worst president ever. So bad we may have to invent a special category for him.
The damage that Buchanan brought on this nation, devastating as it was, was largely a matter internal to this country.
Bush has gone global. He has destroyed our international diplomatic standing, quite probably for generations. He squandered the pro-American sympathy that came our way after 9/11. He has wasted nearly a trillion dollars on a war waged largely to prove that he has a bigger dick than his Dad has. And in the process Bush has seriously eroded our security by creating a new spawning ground for terrorists while failing to punish those actually responsible for the attacks on 9/11.
Add to that the Katrina debacle, the climate change denial shit, the economic and social war on the poor and the middle class, and the systematic destruction of environmental regulation.
Really a general all out walking f*ckwad of a human being, IMHO.
I wish we could dig up Ronnie and put some like, wicked electronics in him, so he could, you know, come back to life and be the president again. He'd set things right. And then we could like have the scientists put an mp3 player in him and a camara phone and he could have guns that come out of his hands and rocket boosters that help him fly Iraq where he could bring Saddam back to life and then kill him.
