Flight from Brazil "Missing"

Anytime a plane goes "missing," it's a horrible sign. This news makes me additionally nervous, as I'm supposed to be flying to Brazil next week for a brief trip, but my personal worries are nothing compared to what the families of the passengers must be going through. My (and, if I may speak for my colleagues, our) thoughts and prayers go out to them while they await any kind of news at all.
