Evil or stupidity?

Which is an easier problem to contend with? I'm talking about the prospect of trading out Dick Cheney for Sarah Palin as the VP. Cheney is assuredly vile, but he's not stupid. I'm not sure Palin is evil, but she's definitely an idiot of the first order (remind you of someone? I would contend that Bush really isn't evil, either; he's just woefully, woefully stupid).

I'm not sure which is more dangerous. Obviously, a Cheney presidency would be unfathomable. But a Palin presidency?

It kind of comes down to whom you'd rather have as a ruler-- Darth Vader or Colonel Klink.
