Historical Image of the Day

I've decided that for the time being, I am going to have weekly themes for the images. In part, the images serve as a photo archive I can draw on for my teaching. Some areas I have a ton of photos for, others I have too few. So I am going to try and even it out this way.

These particular photos will be a series of Americans at work. They come from a series at the National Archives website you can look at here. I'll run this series for the next week and a half, since it makes sense to start a new set on Sunday or Monday and because I think there is great value looking at photos of work.
