A Little Bit of Good Environmental News

After seeing violent conflict between landholders, laborers, and environmentalists in the region, Brazil has protected a swath of the Amazon larger than Alabama, leaving it open to only researchers. While no state is so strong as to prevent EVERY individual from crossing a line drawn on a map, it's still good to see this step taken.
