NCAA Top 25, Week 2

1. Ohio St.--clearly the #1 team at this point.

2. West Virginia--pretty dominant win over Marshall

3. Florida

4. Auburn. Handled Washington St. pretty easily

5. LSU

6. USC--Probably too low. They really kicked the hell out of Arkansas

7. Texas--Up from 10 last week but that's mostly about the circumstances of teams 7-9. I fully expect Ohio St. to beat them this week.

8. Michigan

9. Oregon--Completely dominated Stanford

10. Tennessee--I didn't even have them ranked last week. But they just crushed Cal. Watch out SEC.

11. Oklahoma--Very unimpresive win over UAB. A team that could be in trouble.

12. Louisville--Hammered Kentucky but lost their best player for the year. Hard to see anyone challenging West Virginia for the Big East now.

13. Notre Dame. How are people voting a team #1 that got lucky to beat Georgia Tech? I still don't believe at all.

14. Virginia Tech

15. TCU

16. Georgia

17. Florida St.--I really don't think their victory over Miami means too much. Neither team is really that good. Some people are giving FSU the benefit of the doubt and ranking them really high. Not me.

18. Iowa

19. California--Got hammered by Tennessee. They'll probably be pretty good but I don't know now.

20. Clemson

21. Miami--They've really fallen off. Wouldn't be surprised to see them not on the list at all soon.

22. Arizona St.

23. Boise St.

24. Nebraska--Looked good enough to make the list. But not by much.

25. Arizona--An unimpressive win over BYU but a win it was.

Close--South Carolina (was ranked last week but it was 6-0 against Mississippi St. in the 4th quarter. Not good), Texas Tech (very close), Penn St., (probably should be in there but I'm not doing it yet), UCLA (nice win over Utah), Alabama (they won but barely and over Hawaii).
