Greetings, Alterdestinarians

Thanks very much to Erik for the invitation to join this fine blog, and to Trend and Simool for not immediately resigning in protest. The lack of kung fu blogging at Alterdestiny, as well as the shortage of commentary on the relative influence of various Shi`i mujtahids, has been an obvious problem for some time, and I hope to do my part to correct this.

But first, guitar blogging: Vieux Farka Toure.

Vieux is the son of the celebrated Malian guitarist, singer, holy man, and mayor of Niafunke Ali Farka Toure, who sadly left us last March.
