Smokey the Bear wallet, 1960s.

Note 1: I know it's supposed to be Smokey Bear but I don't want to hear it. My ex-wife used to get angry when people said Smokey the Bear which only made me call him that on principle.

Note 2: By all accounts, the actual bear that became Smokey was a mean, mean bear that used to try and bite people.

Also, thanks to Lyrad for posting all the historical images. While I am probably more or less ready to start posting them again, he should feel free to continue doing it at his leisure. There is certainly nothing wrong with 2 Historical Images of the Day.
