Dreyfuss

In the (what I believe will be unwatchable) Oliver Stone film about George W. Bush, Richard Dreyfuss is playing Dick Cheney.

He looks good as Cheney. What's remarkable is how many Republicans Dreyfuss has played.

In John Sayles' Silver City, he played a loose imitation of Karl Rove.

In the 2001 TV movie, The Day Reagan Was Shot, he played Al Haig.

In Rob Reiner's film, The American President, he played a copy of Bob Dole.

It's interesting that Dreyfuss has become the fall back to play old Republicans. Given his noted liberalism, I'm sure he enjoys skewering these people.

Hat tip to Lance Mannion on this one.

Also, oddly this is the first post to ever have Dick Cheney as a label. Huh.
