Woody Allen & Larry David

Given how bad most of Woody Allen's movies have been in the last decade, I have very little hope that this will actually be good.

But it is worth noting that he will soon start shooting a film starring Larry David. While this seems like an obvious choice, Woody has never worked with another comedian of David's caliber as the lead actor. David is such a strong personality; he has some similar characteristics to Woody but is ultimately quite different. I wonder how this will work out.

Anyway, it seems like a positive development. Maybe David can make something out of this. It's long past time Allen started working with skilled comedians to further his stories.
